A local murder trial is underway in my area. The prosecutor said the perp used a S&W 5-shot .357 Magnum.

Is there such a revolver?

Sir,

I've little time to post, so I'll just mention the 640-1 and the 649-3, and I'm reasonably certain there are other, later models also.

Regards,
Andy

P.S. Onomea beat me to the punch. I'm late again!

Nooooo
Of course not, who ever heard of a 5 shot .357?

Okay, leg pulling aside, yes, there are scads of them, Ruger SP101, LCR, S&W 640, 340, 360, just off of the top of my head, and I am sure there are others.

My M&P 340 is my favorite, BUT, I just ordered an LCRx 3" .357 with adjustable sights, and I can't wait to get it!

The S&W 340PD is one of the many super light weight J frame revolvers chambered in .357.

I have two 5-shot .357 Magnums.

My 640-1 and my 60-14 Lady Smith.
