Sometimes It's Just Got To Be Shiny

Dave, I like it. The visibility factor alone is worth lots of points when it is dark and lonely and the dogs are barking. And I want one

Best regards, nevada duke

Too bad it's hard to find "shiny" guns anymore. Matte has taken over to cut production costs, I guess. Darn ugly IMHO.

Beautiful gun, if Smith would make one I would be the first in line. Unfortunately they won't because they are too busy turning out plastic guns and revolvers with locks ...

I believe 5 inches is the perfect barrel length for any gun.

Took a while to warm up to nickel

I've always been partial to deep blued revolvers, so it took me a while to warm up to nickel guns. I always felt that they were a little "showy" for shootin' irons- like those in the old westerns. But as they say- times and feelings change. It started with my BBQ gun- a 1926 factory nickel 3rd Model HE Wolf & Klar with a 4" bbl (lettered to 1927). Then I found an early 50's nickel pre-Model 10 with a 6-1/2" bbl that was needing a good cleaning and looking for a good home. Recently it was a beautiful 2-1/2" Model 19-4. What can I say? I've still got my "Top 10 List" of revolvers that I'm searching for, and most of them will be blued. But a really nice nickel 6" Model 27 caught my eye the other day...maybe now I need a "Top 20 List"?!

Dave,
Well, since you asked so nicely..:D;)
I'm testin' out a different pair of britches.. We'll have to see what feels better. I like the magnas, but these are kinda spiffy.

Nickel finish

I am having a custom 25-2 made. Short barrel and a round butt with the cylinder honed to handle .45 LC. Want a good quality nickel finish.
