Thank you all for every thing. My sister is passing post 210

Dammit, more flashbacks to my baby sister brought tears to my eyes again. I'm so sorry you are going through this and I truly hope it works out for her in the end of all this.
This is one of many reasons why I'm an organ donor. In PA, all it takes is a check on your driver's license renewal. I have to fill out my living will. Presently I'm DNR, but if I have an organ someone needs, they can keeps me on machines until any necessary organ can be harvested.
steelslaver, you & your family have been in my thoughts daily for sure.

Well, crud. I can't blame you for being distracted, upset, etc. However, medical care improves at a rapid pace and I concur with those who have reported on double transplants.

I am in Tampa Bay with sister. Only have phone so sort version. New liver is failing, she is inline for another, if the rest of her evaluation are good enough to both take the surgical and do well if she receives one. Might be a long wait and see where she is when a liver shows up. She talks toe a bit but is very tired and goes in and out.On top of this a hurricane is headed here
Wa planning to head home Wed AM but that looks unlikely now

This situation has touched me as it is so reminiscent of my brother's long plight and I have a modicum of understanding as to what you both are going through.

My eldest daughter, Lindsey, is in a similar struggle as Marla is. They are right next to each other on our prayer list.

Still sending all my best thoughts for your sister, you and your family and friends.

I shared your sis's story with several friends through the weekend, and they too are offering thoughts and prayers.

Please be safe in those whirling winds.
