What can anyone tell me about the Model 36 Round Butt with a 2-inch barrel with an eagle on the sideplate? And the eagle is holding a scroll-like ribbon with the words "The Right to Keep and Bear Arms" on it.

The label on the original box says "Special". So am I right in thinking this was one of Smith's special offerings? And is the eagle a rollmark or was it done in that etching process used on the barrel of guns like the Model 25-7?

I won't post photos cause the gun's on GB, and I don't want to infringe on anyone's copyright, but if you do a search on GB for "S&W Model 36", it's easy to spot.

And what do you think of the price? It's already at $505 with the reserve not met.
