Were you upset about it?That’s what we did very successfully with the Kurds to have them fight ISIS … and then abandoned them in 2019.
Nobody here got terribly upset about that, probably because it was a different president who betrayed them.
You read my mind.Nobody here got terribly upset about that.....
Do NOT be ashamed to be a American or to wear or have worn the uniform.

And We still have only the news medias take on this failure and We know whose side they are on.
Makes me pretty upset to see the Taliban carry U.S. weapons...

Exactly what history are we supposed to learn from? It seems to be rewritten on a daily basis.
War is about death, destruction and chaos. It about pounding your enemy into submission without mercy. There are no rules, only victory. If you can't accept that, then don't do it.
Having spent several years of my life there, it was no surprise in the outcome. Ghost soldiers on the payroll, vast corruption and incompetence did not encourage the Afghan military.
I have said it before, we could of stayed a thousand years and not changed the outcome. People of a nation have to stand for themselves. Sadly, all the bad guys have all of our equipment now.
