Back goes out all the time. Left knee works when it wants to. Both shoulders hurt all the time. The man sausage malfuntions on it's own.

And what's up with the gray hair? Went from a few last year to prolly a thousand now.

Oh, and we really watch our diet, have for many years.

??????????....dan

Gray hair==try no hair. Knees are so-so. It's the ankles on me (broke both 5 years ago while hunting). Had to go on insulin in January. Just getting my blood sugar under control.

Good news, though. Only 7 years until I can retire, if I do. I might go to teaching science, preferably college. Wife wants me to go back for my PhD. Feel good now that the sugar is down. Cortizone & insoles seems to help the bad ankle. Lost about 12 pounds since I started insulin.

I'm ONLY 62 (next month)

I'll be68 in August. My knees are fine (titanium lasts a long time). I don't have much gray hair (bald). My memory is just fine.

Oh, did I mention that my memory is fine?

welcome to the "if it can...it will" generation..
if it can leak..it will
if it can hurt...it will
it it can rip, tear, dislocate, or simply quit working...it will

enjoy your stay...

You know, everything was going along just fine and then one day I woke up and I was 64 years old. What the heck happened? Had a full bore Lamy on my back, right knee replaced and other smaller metal parts located in there in odd places. Everything going fine and now I have to deal with all of that new stuff. I did sign up for training. "of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most"

Oh, I forgot to mention this "fluffy" layer of fat that migrated from my muscles to everywhere it wasn't asked to.

I am just a pup compared to you oldtimers, but damnit...if I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.

broken neck - car wreck
seperated right sholder - dirtbike wreck
seperated left sholder - streetbike wreck
broken arm - fell out of tree
ripped tendons in both knees - dirtbike
missing acl right knee - dirtbike
concussions, multiple - car/dirtbike/streetbike
tinnitus - gunfire and loud music
I've had 2nd and 3rd degree burns across my face and chest when a radiator blew up.
I've been ingulfed in flames too many times to count. Some of them are hilarious stories that my friends like to tell.
Electrial shocksm multiple...120, 277, and 480.
etc...etc...etc...

And now, at 46, I am a white haired, overweight, diabetic, with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a nasty limp when the knee starts hurting. I still out work a lot of the younger guys on the construction site.

I'm almost 27 but i have my share of aches and pains arthritis in my hands, back shoulders elbows and i have hearing trouble and vision trouble its so bad that i have to wear very strong prescription glasses and i'm overweight but i'm trying to lose some of the extra weight. p.s. i also have lots of scars on my hands and body.

If it makes you feel any better, I have grey hair at the age of 24. And I started to have it since the age of 14. Although it seems to just be in one patch of my head..... almost as if its afraid to check out the rest of my head LOL

I'm 56 and some days I'm convinced that somebody has made a voodoo doll with my face on it. Things just start hurting out of the blue. Some times sharp pains, like a needle poke and others a sudden ache.

I used my old body to the fullist extent all my life, don't have any regrets for all the hard work, fun and enjoyment of my life. Then I hit 65, had a heart attack 3 stents and was doing fine then lost a disk in my back between L4 and L5, put me down for about 5 months, been doing water therapy and doing good again. Told the man upstairs that was enough I was done with the hurting for awhile. I still have grandkids to keep up with, we took 2 of them to a blackpowder rendezvous last wekend, the wife is just now recovering. She says she is slowing down too. But every day your on the right side of the sod it is a good one.

Oh Yeah; I can relate to all of you guys problems. Two knees operated on, Carpal Tunnel surgery on both wrists [twice] Hernia, Carotid surgery [Both sides] But now there isn't much more to go wrong so I'll just keep plugging along. Bald, fat & happy. Now when deer season starts in Oct. I'll be the first one in line. Can't hike like I used to but can stay on a stand all day.

I am 70 and I was a Lineman for a utility company until I was 60 and I have always played games that was hard on the body so now I have a lot of aches and pains. I can't do a lot of the physical things I could do when I was younger but I like life because now I eat when I am hungry and sleep when I am sleepy. It's great to be old and not have to work. Larry

sounds like your on your last leg! im right behind you buddy, its just the way it is, its not fair that a man works all his life then retires, but hes to broke down to do the things he used to not have time to do. im sure you feel better now?

Its all in how you look at it. I'm only 52 "next week", but somedays
i feel like 82 and some days i feel really good. Mostly weekends.
Broken both arms as a kid, left arm twice. Broken ankle playing
softball in work league. Loaded semis on a shipping dock for 11 years
as a youngster, always lifting wrong with my back instead of knees.
So now it's the little aches and pains in the joints that bothers me
a little but i ain't gonna complain. I take 2 Aleve daily and that helps
with the soreness. Mostly colder weather irritates the old injuries.
But there's alot of folks with real problems that make mine pale in
comparison so i still thank the Lord every day and keep on keepin'
on.

So, I'm typing this at 3 AM. Wonders of rheumatoid arthritis. Other than that I have no idea of wherein you speak. I'm only 35, but seem to be trapped in a 70 year old body...
