TV show "Yellowstone"

Modern TVs have terrible sound because they expect that you will augment it with a surround system or sound bar.

Sad, but true.

As for Yellowstone, it's about a cattle ranch named Yellowstone, not the park.

The question is - who is the bad guy on Yellowstone? It's hard to tell.

These are my favorite gripes. Actors mumble or whisper and I can’t understand, then the background music blasts my wife out of her bed upstairs. I think I will have to try the sound bar.

No matter how clearly they enunciate the cuss words I'm not going to hear them because that show won't be on in my house.

I concur. I tried to watch it last night. Hard to believe that language is on a regular channel. Too bad as I love a good western series.

I’m sure I’m in the minority.

I would have loved to have seen this series, but it's not carried on my cable provider.

So I have to rely on pictures and memories. Yellowstone and I go back to when I was 14 years old!

My idea of a western is John Wayne. Never any doubt what he was saying and never any doubt what he meant.
Yeah, especially since what he had to say and how to say it was all written down for him.

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

Not a broadcast channel
like CBS NBC etc
You have to subscribe/pay for it so the rules are different.

The F word is becoming so commonly used its lost its shock factor IMO.

Absolutely 0 to do with the park as far as the show.

Last night's first episode of the season was a disappointment. Apparently, they're running out of good material or they have some poor writers - perhaps both.

The bull in the bar and the lengthy beer joint fight scene filled some time, and that's about it, in a most non-creative segment of the episode.

Yep, I was hoping for a little more to start things off this season, myself.
Since there’s squat to choose from, I’ll see if it gets better next week.
