Predictable, that folks are questioning the origin and manufacture of the weapons the bad guys are using against Israel.

As depressing as the news from over there is, the news from college campuses over here and a few offices in DC is more depressing.

I am not sure that except for infants and toddlers, there are any innocent Palestinian civilians. After all the Hamas terrorists were civilians.
They are all over the country now.

Have not both sides of this conflict practiced acts of terror since the
1930's-40's? Let's face it, there is no easy, quick solution to the mid-east problems, maybe not a solution at all.
I know for sure that I don't have the answers, and I dare say nor does any one.

This bunch has been killing each other for centuries. It is not likely to be resolved in our lifetimes, if ever.

Israel and Palestine have been at war with each other since the Old Testament. Their hatred for each other is now part of their DNA. It'll never end until one side or the other is wiped out.

Palestinians' of many persuasions have been living in that part of the world long before it was converted into a Jewish State. A good friend of mine is a Christian Palestinian who moved his family over here due to the way they were mistreated by the Israelis, including having family land that went back for generations taken away much the way we did to our native people's. I'm not defending this terrorist move by Hamas in any way but have always felt the Israelis have mistreated the Palestinians the same way we did our native tribes, which I also condemn. There is truth that Israel has a right to exist, we all are aware of the suffering delivered to them during the hard times. At the same time I will advocate for a Palestinian state.
There cannot be peace in the middle east during our lives as we now exist.
When peace does come to the middle east, far greater and significant things will be underway. Watch carefully, friends.

There’s a great misconception that the Jews have been there only since post WWII. So untrue, since choosing to believe in one God (the real meaning of the Chosen People tag) they were systematically persecuted by every dominant culture in the region, run out of the others that now make up the modern Arab (Persian in the case of Iran) countries.
I believe the Balfour Declaration is mostly responsible for setting the stage for where the region is today.
