WAR DECLARED in Israel

Latest flash. Hamas has ordered residents of north Gaza to NOT evacuate to the south. So who is to be believed? I sort of expected that Hamas would sow confusion about the evacuation order.

News channel hear just reported that their source in Gaza told them that the Hamas hierarchy has gone into hiding and the foot soldiers have changed back into civvies to merge into the general population. Yep, saw that coming.

Here is what you originally wrote:

You wrote that post in the present tense, and your words were clear. At the time you wrote that post you were wrong. No one had given any money to the Iranians when you wrote that post, and no one has given them any money in the days since. At no time has Iran used any of that money to fund Hamas or attack Israel, and I guarantee you the US Government didn't freeze that money because of something you posted on the Forum.

To be fair, you were just one of many people in this country who spread the rumor that "someone" had given Iran that money...but you did say it. I do wonder, though, where you got your incorrect information? Sounds like it might have been one of those "fake news" sources...

Yup, a fake news source. The Guardian.

US agrees to release $6bn in Iran funds as part of deal to free detained Americans | Iran | The Guardian

As reported in the fake news over a month ago, the money was to flow from South Korea to Qatar. As reported currently, the US and Qatar worked out a deal to freeze the assets...that means the money left South Korea and was in Qatar. If you're claiming the assets were in Qatar so they weren't released, then you also believe that your cash in the bank is not yours until you take it out in cash and stuff it under a mattress. Let's just agree that you and I will never agree on this and call it a day.

We are always told that being silent about evil is being complicit.

Hey, how's the Day of Global Jihad working out around the country? We're not seeing so many paragliding jihadis down here on the border despite social media 'news' about Hamas in Mexico.

Guess I can remove the hot wire from my claymores.

Stat I saw yesterday.
Unknown how accurate.
It stated that as of yesterday's date 6000
bombs have been dropped on Gaza.

Gaza is what maybe 150 square miles or so ???
Do the math.
Surprised that anything is standing.

Won't be when they're done. Waiting to see what further assistance Iran, et al. will provide.

During WW2 a few islands got pummeled big time by ships guns and aircraft and there were plenty of well armed Japanese available to fight our boys when they attacked after the bombardment stopped! They had extensive tunnels also like the Gaza has!

Add Iran's BFF Russia.

A Hamas delegation lands in Moscow to meet with officials in the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The delegation is made up of Hamas officials based outside of Gaza.

Hamas has seen its ties with Russia improve in recent years. Last month, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh held a rare phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The Palestinian armed group Hamas said on Tuesday that it sent a high-level delegation to Russia and held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

In an interview published on Hamas' website, Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau, said party leaders visited Russia and met Lavrov and that the visit was a reflection of Hamas' weight among major global powers.

"The leadership of the movement visited Moscow and met Sergey Lavrov. It was an important visit that highlights the role of the movement with many global actors," Arouri said. He added that there might be another international Hamas trip "in the coming weeks." Arouri did not specify when the visit to Moscow took place, saying only that it happened "recently."

Meanwhile, Russian-Hamas relations have steadily grown. Russia has sought to increase its role in the Palestinian reconciliation dossier, with some Palestinians hoping it will break the US monopoly over the file that has been stalled for more than a decade.

Hamas officials have made several visits to the Russian capital, most recently in September of last year.

If they were typical 750 lb or 1000 lb bombs I would agree. A blip I saw elsewhere talked about replenishing Israel's supplies of the 250 lb Small Diameter Bomb (SDB). This are pretty slick at taking down one building with minimal damage to the neighboring structures.

MOAB

Bebe needs to whisper in a very low voice to Biden M.O.A.B and the number 5 as the amount needed. Tunnels, caves, etc will be a cake-walk for the IDF. Maybe they would settle for the plans on how to build one, if in fact they don't have them already.

Standing by my Island Hopping prediction. Isolate and starve them out. Hey, I didn't make E5 for nothing. Stopped fondling my .380, moved up to .45. Just a hour or two to Dearborn. Ha. Bad times. Argue about who blew up the hospital. So sorry.

A hospital in Gaza has been destroyed. Reports of 500 dead. That's started quite a storm. Palestinians are blaming Israel. Israel says it was rockets from Islamic Jihad that misfired.

Biden was supposed to have a meeting with Arab leaders in Jordan and that has now been canceled. I find the timing of this a bit suspicious.

I seriously doubt Israel did it. Bombing a hospital would be a really bad move. But Hamas, and now most likely the entire Arab world, are screaming for their heads.

This mess is getting worse by the minute.

I really want both sides to stop killing civilians. Neither will.

A point to ponder. When things go full-on tribal, are there really any civilians? It would be nice to think that in the 21st century that there was no such thing as "tribal", but world events keep showing us that this isn't the case, sadly.

Indeed. Since the hospital bombing, Pakistan (120-140 nuclear warheads) suddenly said this:

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, a Pakistani woman lawmaker recently made a strong statement about Pakistan's nuclear capabilities and their commitment to protecting Muslims and the nation. In an undated video, which has gone viral on X, the lawmaker urged the Prime Minister of Pakistan to send a stern warning to Israel, expressing concerns about the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and calling for an end to the occupation in Gaza.

"Pakistan is an atomic power. These atom bombs have not been kept to show but to protect Muslims and Pakistan. I urge the Prime Minister of Pakistan to warn Israel to end the atrocities on Palestine and their capture or else we will erase Israel from the map of the world," said the woman lawmaker said in the viral video.

So, Israel is at war and the entire county is under threat of rockets, drones or whatever.

AF1 and Pres. Biden is coming in - how is his safety going to guaranteed? What happens if something happens? US enters the war and WW3? It seems everyone wants war.

I find it interesting that the US won't say that Iran is involved.

This whole situation smells bad.
