What Did You Reload Most Recently?

This past weekend we had the nor'easter and I was confined indoors; a perfect scenario to catch up on reloading. I did 200 each of 9mm and .357. The 9mm was 124 grain fmj over 4.2 grains of Bullseye. The .357 was a 158 grain Missouri Bullet Company LSWC over 6.0 grains of Unique. I don't have a chrono, but I'm guessing they're both around 1000 fps.

This morning......460 Weatherby.....20 rounds

460 WBY brass....(norma made)

Hornady 500 gr interlock soft point

112.0 gr of H-4350

Fed 215M

Sir, a small batch of .45 ACP with HP-38 and 200-grain SWCs. Need to do a couple hundred more of these to finish off this box of bullets, then probably start on either .45 Colt or .44 special.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

Just finished up 1689 .380 ACP. Took almost 2 weeks of spare time, but I don't have an empty .380 case in the house. 3gr W231 95gr FMJ.

Next is about 50 lbs. of .38 SPL.

I'm waiting for primers to arrive, then I'll start loading 9mm and .40 cal. (New to reloading) Have you use anything other than Bullseye for the 9? If so any comparisons. I've been reading everything I can find from the various powder and reloading equipment companies, but nothing is as helpful as input from guys with real world experience.

Pulled 50 rounds of .38 SPL (6.0gr AA#5, 158gr LSWC, 1.450" OAL) and remade them into 50 rounds of .38 SPL (6.1gr AA#5, 158gr LSWC, 1.440" OAL). Hopefully this will give me the accuracy I'm looking for at 50 yards...

Also loaded 50 rounds of .44 Mag (18.5gr 2400, 240gr LSWC, 1.609" OAL).

Should be good to go.

I prefer AA #5 or Unique over Bullseye for 9mm. In most instances, you can get higher velocities with the same or lower pressure than bullseye produces. Bullet weight matters though, but I use 124 gr. and this stands true for that weight according to my manuals. Max load in bullseye for 124 gr. is shown at 4.4 grains and only gets you 1075 fps.... I can get 1150 fps out of AA #5 at lower pressure. Just my .02

I have been working with a . 38 145 gr. flat base SWC that I have started casting. I am sizing them .360 for the .38 S&W and worked up some great loads that are way above factory level, using AutoComp. These are for a 1974 vintage Regulation Police and would probably scatter an old Owl Head or even a top break S&W.

I am also working on a load in .357 magnum with this same bullet sized appropriately. I am working with several powders but will probably settle on 2400.

50 rounds of .357 Magnum -- 11.0gr 2400/158gr cast LSWC/1.571" OAL -- it seems to be more of a "light magnum" or maybe a heavy .38+P load out of my 6"/full-lug 686. But then again, I had been shooting some .44 Magnums (18.0gr 2400/240gr cast LSWC/1.609" OAL) out of my 6"/half-lug 629 right before, so my perceptions might've been a little skewed...

300 rounds of 45 acp, 200 gr Rainer plated RN. I used H Universal & tightgroup, 6.0 Universal & 5.0 Tightgroup.

It has been months since I even looked at my press, but now that the competitive season is over I've been preparing. Over the last couple three days I have cast, sized and lubed a little over 1,000 148 gr wadcutters (H&G #50). I'll start by loading 1,000 practice rounds theen move on to loading up my .44 and .41 brass I have on hand.
