Does anyone else here give there dog a bowl of Kibble and whole milk each day. My dog absolutely loves it. I have a slightly over sized bowl filled half way with kibble and then up to about ¾ with milk. Kind of like people do with their breakfast cereals. A gallon of milk lasts her about 10 days or so. And when she hears the kibble hitting that ceramic bowl she is already bouncing in anticipation. She also gets a daily boiled egg and some human grade meat chopped mixed in with her dry kibble. I use a Purina Pro Plan for dogs with sensitive skin, but I may change from that in the coming months. I also sometimes put a couple of ounces of peanut butter in small dabs mixed in the kibble. I buy those large 4 pound jars of smooth peanut butter for her, but I end up eating almost as much of it as she does. LOL
I never feed her canned dog food. She also gets fresh raw hog bones with meat on them and deer bones when they are available. I think she likes them even more than the kibble and milk. Even more rarely she catches the slow squirrel or rabbit for a quick off the book snack.
I don't think I have ever just fed her a bowl of dry kibble without some real protein mixed in with it.
Man finesse if you're giving your dog a boiled egg everyday I bet she could clear out an auditorium!! Seriously, we feed both of ours Natural Balance.
