Gen 5 Glock 19. It just feels right in my hand.
You know, I woke up this morning and it all changed. When I opened the gun vault door this morning for some reason I reached for my S&W 586 Distinguished Combat Magnum to caress.

I'm fortunate to have enough that I really can't just pick one. That being said I always enjoy pulling one of my G series FALs out of the safe...
Had a L1A1 many moons ago. In rapid fire you could see the bullet impacts "walk" up the target as the barrel got hot. Sold it. Like the looks though as I had a wood stock too.
My S&W Model 41 that was set up for an optical sight. It's my regular Wednesday night .22 league gun and I just used it this morning at the big Harrisburg regional match. I've been through a couple optical sights but now have settled on a SigSauer green dot optical sight. Last year the sun wiped out the red dot. I couldn't aim for sour apples last year in the Harrisburg.match. This year the green dot came through and my total score came up 70 points from last year.
Glad you can use the dot sights, I find them to distracting. In my hands they seem to dance around on the target. I am much better off with old school iron sights. Good shooting.
Lightly modified Springfield Armory 1911 with many rounds down range in IPSC competition. Back when I could do that.
