What is your town’s tourist attraction?

JInglebob, you are exactly right!!! Man, we are more famous than I thought. The 'basket' is actually a basket shaped nesting place on top of a tall stone column in the middle of Spring Creek and every year a duck will build a nest in it and hatch some eggs. That particular duck will then become Suzy until another duck moves in.

Boy oh boy, wait until I tell the Chamber of Commerce about this.

Space Needle, to the surprise of no one. Spent quite a bit of time trying to find the "best" picture for you but couldn't decide.

I live in a small town of about 2500 people (Knightstown).
The old school gymnasium where i played 6th grade basketball
and finished second in the school spelling bee is "The Hoosier Gym".
The home court where most of the scenes for the movie "Hoosiers"
with Gene Hackman was filmed.
Voted by ESPN as the Best sports movie of the century.
I think "Rudy" was second.
They still hold an all star game in the gym each year with the states best Senior high school players against the best Juniors.
Also, ESPN interviewed Magic Johnson
and Larry Bird inside the gym a few years ago.
The gym is open daily for tours and walking. You can shoot hoops
on the same floor the movie was filmed.
It is also rented out at around 75 dollars a day and we have had
a family Christmas party inside the gym a few years back.
Great place.
If your close by stop on in and see the pictures, memoribilia,
from the movie. PM me and i'll meet you over there and show
you around myself. "Free" no charge to come inside and walk,
look, shoot some hoops.
