In 40 S&W, I like Barnes solid copper hollow points. They are marketed under the trade name 'TAC-XP' and come in 125, 135, and 140 grain sizes. They are available in loadings from Barnes, Buffalo Bore, DoubleTap, and CorBon. If you subscribe to the "low mass / high velocity / soft tissue damage" theory of stopping power, as I do, they are likely to be the best you will find.

If you are one of those "penetration is king" fellows, Nosler has a 200gr polymer tipped jacketed lead offering that you may wish to try in the last mag of your range session.
