Found an old wooden silverware case that needed repurposing, an old belt buckle that was never worn and a piece of velvet that the wife didn't want.

It may not look like a S&W original, but then again did they ever make a presentation case that held an eclectic mix?

Jim, great minds think alike. Last weekend I made a hiding place out of a cigar box. It seems like every “secret” box or cabinet you can buy has a big flag or 2A on it or something that suggest GUN. This one hides in plain sight.

You did a nice job. Very apropos that you posted. My first and best hunting and shooting companion was a cigar smoker - my Dad. He always gave me his empty boxes and to this day my reloading bench is stacked full of cigar boxes that contain bullets, brass, etc.

I went to college in Buffalo and I have experienced heavy duty Winters 4 years in a row! Something I truly do not miss now!

Chief, it’s been a mild one this year. El Niño don’t you know. Lake Erie froze over completely and that shuts off the lake effect machine. Should be smooth sailing next 6-8 weeks. That damn gopher saw his shadow.

You live in the snow capital of the USA. Hope you have a lot cases to play with, shoveling snow would be a hobby there. The case looks great, Larry

That's what people think and we'll keep it that way. Don't want people moving here and adding more traffic and taking more welfare money.

The truth is that when "Buffalo" snow is reported it is measured at the Weather Service Office. So far this Winter, "technically" we have received snow every day since January 31st. Many of those days I saw sunshine, blue skies and green grass at my house. I'm only 12 miles north, outside of the "snow belt".

So far I have only used my snowblower twice, and washed my car in my driveway every weekend except for one.

Bald1 how appropriate that your hidden gun is a Department of Corrections S&W.

Good eye old cop. I guess the medallion gave it away. I actually just used that gun as a pattern. I made the case for my friends model 10-6. He just lost his father who was a cigar guy.
