I watched them build the very first Raising Cane's, and then proceeded to eat way too much of it for the next 5 years. Was finally able to get clean of the addicting stuff and can now eat it at a normal frequency.

Ah, chili. We have it several times a month. I have sampled chili from many, many whistle stops across this land and found a different variant at almost each one.

I honestly can't recall having a bowl that was unpalatable.

Must have been in the air this weekend. Not a true 'Cincy-style', but I did add a little cinnamon, chocolate, allspice & clove. On noodles Saturday night. Then on a dog Sunday night.

I'm actually taking this batch to work tomorrow for my staff... I'll fine tune it tonight then get it ready to transport in the morning.

My guess is 5:46.

I find it takes a couple of days for chili to reach it's full potential. I will let it simmer tonight for a few hours before it gets taken to work tomorrow.

You're absolutely right!
With a dish like chili, as good as it is straight out of the pot, it is even better after it has had some time for all the ingredients to jell together.
