HAPPY EASTER
 
My wife was working over night with a patient She will be home about 11:00am. So it was left to me to prep. all the food.
We will be having some family over aprox. 12 people.
To start the appitizers are large shrimp cocktail and peperoni and cheese. The main course will be baked ham, twice baked potatoes covered with lobster chunk's and mozzarella cheese, mashed sweet potatoes, fresh green beans, corn in a butter sauce ,green tossed salad and cressent roll's.
For desert we have two one is called Death by Chocolate {a chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and whipped cream and caramel drizzeled over the top} .The other is called Trifle {a angel food cake with fresh strawberries and black berries covered in whipped cream .
I almost forgot she also picked up some type of tarts.
WE told everyone to come for 2:30 pm so we should be ready to eat around 4:30 pm.
I wish everyone a Happy Easter or what ever you celebrate.
 
the only thing I know for sure is a spiral sliced ham, with a honey/mustard glaze...... fixed by a good woman who loves her family more than she loves her own life.....

I've given a like to near everyone above, who are celebrating our Lord's return........ or are just celebrating being with good family/on this weekend, or having memories of holidays shared in better times, life doesn't get better than that.

Pigs in a blanket, seasoned and fried zucchini & onions. Roasted butternut squash and red potatoes. For desert, my wife's famous pineapple upside-down cake with fresh whipped cream.
 
Im eatin alone so its the other half of a Meatball Subway sandwich on Wheat w/ american cheese, lettuce,cucumbers and lots a Jalepeno peppers,lots a parmesean cheese topped with ranch dressing. For dessert is a few spoonfuls of chocolate peanut butter,and an iced cold bottle of Sioux City Sarspirilla Soda. This soda is the realdeal--made with pure cane suger.
 
After a chilly sunrise service with three other churches to celebrate The Resurrection, the church ladies served up an egg-n-sausage-n-bacon-n-cheese casserole (that surprisingly was quite good [not normally a fan of egg casserole]), cinnamon rolls, crescent rolls, punkin bread, and drinks. For after-church dinner, me and Momma did a drive-through at Spangles.

That picture of the crawfish boil is just plain cruel. No place around here to get real crawfish; don't know when I'll be where I can. Acebow
