whats your latest brand new revolver purchase?

Latest revolver ?
Well, that would be a Kimber K6s. I'm currently out of town and that's my carry pistol I have with me.

My latest brand new revolver?

It was a .22 Mag Dan Wesson in 1995. :D

Edit.:p That statement is only valid for double action revolvers. My latest brand new was a 44WCF SAA 5,5 barrel from Uberti in 2000.

Well, I responded to this thread back in 2014 with this answer. My latest brand new revolver is my S&W Md 649 in .357 magnum. Three years later my answer is still the same. And I still love it!

Actually, I probably will never buy a brand new revolver again. It seems pretty easy for me to find nearly new, classic revolvers in my LGSs and pawn shops.

ONLY 1 "BRAND NEW" S&W REVOLVER EVER

I flipped a bunch of used model 10's back in the day when LEOS were trading them in for 357's, & several others/brands thru the years. The only NEW S&W was a 6" 617, a fine gun but traded it in for the 4" version (used). I can't think of 1 I'd rather have now VS a vintage model.

Bought these two in September. One for me and the other I gave to my son as a wedding present.

My first new S&W was a Model 28, way back in 1980 April or May if I remember correctly. The next was a new Lady Smith 36-7 .38 spl for the wife in 95 or 96. It's in like new condition as she has only fired it twice and then only five rounds each time. I prefer my revolvers to be pre-conditioned and refuse to buy a Colt because I refuse to pay for a "name". I have several S&W's which are just as reliable and work as smooth as any Colt, so why spend the money. Besides I don't like the way their cylinder opens.

642-1 about 3 years ago. If my bride takes a shine to it now that she hasdecided to go armed, I may have to buy another. Before that it was 1984 and a 24-3. All the rest have been test driven by someone else.

Update 07/14 - she did. Now another 642-1 or 442-1 unless I find a well-aged 40 or 42 somewhere first.

Before I realized this was a Zombie thread I went through my records. Then I found this post and realized it needs no update except actual date of purchase of the 642 was 04/27/11.

Didn't buy but traded a Glock 23 Gen 4 for a like new 3 inch S&W 64-5.

Latest purchase is an NAA Pug, .22 WMR, earlier this week, waiting for it to arrive. Don't know why I bought it, looks like a cool little range toy.

New Toy!

686 Plus: Not new new, but like new, and new to me.

My last purchase were the new s&w with the loc/mim parts. Leave them for me I'll buy them.

640-1 Pro series .357.

Bought it old stock NIB 6 years ago. I carry it daily.
I've bought many other revolvers before and after that but all were preowned.
