Which length 27-2 would you get if you could only have one

Picked up a 5" recently but my grail is the 3.5".

With Spegel boots.

I would get the long Tom 83/8”, that way if you don’t like it you can prune it to your liking.

I agree, the 5” is the one I would choose…..now. But since I have the extremely common 6” 27-2 made in 1975 that would be my favorite.

Thankfully, it being common does not take away from how beautiful it is. 6" is definitely a close second for me, with a 3.5" in third.

I like the 3 1/2, 6 1/2 and the 8 3/8 in that order.

in blue and with ivory stocks are the prettiest revolvers IMHO...

If I could only have one revolver period, it would be be my 5" 27-2, pictured here with it's brothers, a 6" 27-2 and 8-3/8" 27-1.

3.5" commands 2x pricing for a reason. It just looks and feels right.

I use a 5" GP100 in practice in the field; I'd probably opt for a 5" nickel for a real working gun - but for a work of art, 3.5"

I have the itch for my first 27-2 most likely they will multiply since these revolvers are like potato chips. But if you could only have one length that is a pleasure to shoot which would it be?

I don’t plan on carrying it, just bringing a smile to everyone’s face when they shoot it.
