whats your favorite pie?

Blueberry no doubt. For the best, use the Maine blueberrys - hard to find outside Maine area. Not sold down south. Had that blueberry pie at the Maine Diner in Wells, Maine - unbeleivable!! Nothing finer.

either cobbler or pie...........just gimme a big spoon and stand back...........

Sir - Can't say I have yet, but I will keep it in mind on the next visit. Maine is a great place to be about 6 months per year. Take care - Judge

lemon meringue.
blueberry

My dear wife says I should eat more "humble pie". Anyone got a recipe ?

How great is this a bunch of gun toting (mostly) guys talking about our favorite pies. Only a few I don't like - rhubarb and anything with raisins don't make the cut. Love blueberry pie and walnut pie and my wife's pumpkin. My wife downloaded the winning receipe of a Pillsbury bake off or some contest winner. This thing rules it has oatmeal, walnuts, chocolate chips. By unanimous vote of our regular Thanksgiving attendees this pie has replaced waltnut pie. She makes it as my birthday pie - it is awesome. Say the word and I'll post it.

Maybe next we could discuss what to use to get rid of that subborn coffee stain on my white shirt.

I'm glad that this thread is getting so many responses. Clearly, we as a group like pie! :)

I got some fresh blackberries last night, and will probably just eat them in a dish. But when I have time or can talk my daughter into making me one, I love blackberry pie.

Maybe the bakery in my upscale grocer will have one. I'm gonna go look soon.

Many good answers here, but has anyone heard of "Mock Apple Pie"? It's made with Ritz Crackers & no apples, but it's the best "apple" pie I've had. (I know it sounds weird, but you might be surprised. The taste has fooled a lot of people.)
