My girlfriend butchers eggs

I will admit the OP's egg does look a bit unconventional, but I'll bet it tastes just fine.

If I were you, I'd smile and eat that egg. If you don't get diarrhea, then don't worry. It may taste like hell but her cooking won't make you sick.

Add a little sausage a slice of cheese then add hot sauce to taste then roll it up in a tortilla and have at it. Breakfast, yum.

Around our house if my wife commits infractions like the OP's("butchering eggs")we have something we call "couch time".

Depending on the severity of the transgression(which may include failure to express the proper amount of enthusiasm for my latest gun acquisition), this could mean she's got to spend anywhere from one to three nights on the couch. Try it-I'll bet she never butchers the eggs again.

Note: but in order for this to work, you've got to be able to exert some self control. This means ignoring her when she's scratching at the bedroom door in the wee hours of the morning.

(Seriously, though, IMO, self control is, sadly, much underrated in our culture. But it's key to avoiding all kinds of vices and maintaining a host of virtues-as well as keeping fit and healthy. And no, my wife doesn't read this forum).

EDIT: just wanted to add im not being mean she watched me take the pic and knew exactly what i was doing with it. She's read the comments..

Given some ketchup & Tabasco or salsa it would make a good sandwich. (nothing is ever a total loss)

Fring eggs is simple...use a heavy stainless steel 8" fry pan, and spray with Pam. Heat on medium for a minute, and drop in 3 eggs. When the whites begin to firm up, cover for firmer yolks...the longer covered, the firmer, or don't cover and serve when the whites are no longer runny, for the perfect sunny side up; and with clean edges, instead of crisped/burned edges.
