Good drift today got some laughs . Deer season is only a couple days off and some of the guys are already at the lease getting ready. There will be a lot of good food and plenty of Yahooing I am sure. The guys I hunt with have large appetites and are good cooks(firemen). the start of deer season is a big deal here in Texas and I really enjoy it.

Not yet, but I am working my way up the food chain. There is no question my money is safe and will be returned to me.
The $903.88 was supposed to be a paper draft on my account to a payee that is not sophisticated enough to accept wires. The bank wired the $903.88 somewhere instead of mailing a draft as instructed. The issue is the bank was never given the bank routing number or account number for a wire and cannot tell me where they sent it. Payment was set up on 10/16 confirmed to me as a check/draft, with number, as been mailed on 10/19 and cashed on 10/22. On 11/3 my account had not been paid and so I personally delivered a handwritten check for the debt to prevent a $50 late payment penalty.
Two $903.88 payments have come out of my account and only the one I personally delivered went to where it was supposed to go. Most likely it is a simple mistake. They should be able to reverse the ACH payment and get my money back. It's just a pain getting to a person that will take the problem on as if it were their own. I'll give the bank a chance before I start taking it out of their hide. I really do like this bank and want to continue doing business with them.

Does anybody here still use CB radio? Most folks back home, Georgia, still have them in their trucks to use during hunting season but that's about all.

Well I think I will sign off this place for the night. It's 53 degrees here in the desert at 9:27 in the evening and that's pretty cool for us.
