I'm Ready!!
I'm ready for the game tonight. We've invited some Freinds over. Went ahead and grabbed a 5# tray of Bar-B-Que while eating lunch and a big ole bucket of their potato salad.
Stopped at the store and got buns, chips, a couple of dips. Sodas, and of course a big bag of Heath Candy Bars for the ladies.
Sorry, but we DON'T drink, but if they're WELCOMED to bring their own and that'll be fine. And I "might" break out one the quarts of Tennessee apple pie moonshine (that a gun show buddy in East Tennessee makes and gives for gifts) wink wink, (he don't sell it! That'd be against the law! Wink Wink!) that I received for Christmas! Like I said, I won't drink, but don't mind if they do. And you'd be surprised how many of the ladies that will want to just "TASTE" it! Wink wink! While saying they've never tasted moonshine? Wink Wink! Like they said last time we served it!
So we're set! Got food, drinks and already programmed the TV to auto tune.
We'll be watching the game and the ladies, will, do what always they do! Talk bad about the men folk!
I hope it's a good game and NOT a blow out, like most of the bowl games have been so far!

The good news is that Alabama plays Clemson tonight for the so-called national championship.
Could be one hell of a game.

Wife sent me to Publix 1000 for additional lottery tickets.
I found my favorite style shopping cart, with the cane holder and full battery. I got right in line an waited less than two minutes while the lovely young lady handled a mild urgent situation.
Got the tickets and change and when I turned around there were at least 20 people in line!

I went to Academy this afternoon to check their clearance racks. I got three Hanes hoodie sweatshirts for $3.24 each marked down from $12.99 each. I also got a regular Hanes sweatshirt for $1.75 marked down from $6.99.
After such rigorous shopping its Beer Time!
Today I am having Alaskan Amber Alt Style Ale, brewed and bottled in Juneau, Alaska. An alt beer is an ale which is brewed at a cooler temperature and aged like a lager.
It pours a clear amber color. The aroma is pleasant. If I did not know it was an ale I could easily mistake it for a lager. There is a mellow malt flavor which fades into a very mild hop finish. It's a decent beer not great, but very good; I'd drink it again without a doubt.
The only other alt beer I've had is Shiner Old Time Alt. It has been a while since I had one of those, but I remember liking it also.
