Good evening drifters, it's 96 in the desert this evening and it feels like it. Tomorrow is grocery day so I will make the weekly trip to buy food, must have food. Yes I could miss a few meals and it wouldn't hurt but I don't want to I like food.

Been a hot humid day here as well. The storms that passed
thru Wednesday evening did nothing to cool us down.
But it's all good as they say early next week we will get some
relief.

Good morning all. It's Friday! Here in Houston it is hot and humid. There is a 20% to 30% chance of rain. There is a low pressure area over the Yucatan with a 20% probability of tropical formation, but nothing to fret over. It's just summertime. I'm heading out for my morning walk and scouting mission. Good morning from the north also. 49 here this morning, going to high 80s. They're hoping to have my boat done by this morning but last I talked to him he was still waiting on a gauge and steering cables. My wife said not to call and raise heck if it's not ready by noon. I should know not to bug him from doing machine repair all those years, but I want my boat back. My plan is to go ride around and get the new motor broke in today then I can start fishing tomorrow.

As kwselke reported it is Friday and summertime here in Houston area. Got to do the mowing thing again today,weeds grow fast! EU is going to put a hit on the stock market they claim,another money grab by the manipulators of the markets. Hope everyone has a good day,drift on.

We had a pretty good storm about 2:00 am. And I went to bed. Thunder lightning and heavy rain. Caused me to sleep well.

Fix'n to head out to go my windshield installed. Waiting on traffic to settle down.

I hate morning traffic! People texting, people dialing, people checking their emails, ladies putting on makeup while they drive, people fooling with their coffee cup and radio. Not paying attention and cutting people off, all the while knowing they should have moved over one more lane, 3 miles ago and they're NOT lost, they go that way every day and have for the last 3 years! Did I mention I hate morning traffic?

So i hope y'all have a GREAT Day! And at all cost, avoid Nashville morning traffic! I sure try!

We get tourist traffic out here. You don't even have to see 'em, you can smell the burnt brakes on the downhills.
