Dagnabbit! Forgot to change to the choak tube barrel on the miniature riot gun!

Didn't see the Great Pumpkin anyway, no good patches here in FL to darn hot.

Sat outside with my lady wife to dispense candy to strangers. Not many Zeds this year, maybe nervous types took them to seriously. Only 3 CAs, lots of Batmen, some Batgirls, no Wonder Women, large numbers of Princesses and enough members for a decent SWAT team.

Most interesting event of the week: Went out on a fire call at about 12:30 a.m. this morning. It wasn't much of an event, mostly smoke and a herd of scared cats. The real fun came when I got back on station at about 2:00. The local bars had just let out and I guess they had costume night. It looked like adult-drunk-Trick-or-Treat! Kinda cool.

Well the Great Pumpkin has come and gone and now it is time to start planning the big turkey dinner or whatever you folks fix for that big dinner in November. The big hunt on Thanksgiving morning was always a thing to prepare for but now days I usually don't go myself just wait till every one comes back and listen to all the stories of the younger fellas.
