Annoyed at thread drift

BR, as it turns out I don't need that popcorn...unless you went ahead & bought it, in which case I'll sure take it off your hands. I used to eat a lot of popcorn; once I was at Sam's, & they had a fifty pound bag. It took me months, but I killed it.

I wish you would have told me sooner.

I may have gone a little overboard.

Good Morning All.

It's 57 degrees here in Houston. A line of thunderstorms just passed through and moved off to the east. It is suppose to be mostly sunny with a high of 73 today.

I've got to gear up and go walking. Later I may go to Academy and see if they have winter clothes on clearance yet. I understand they have not sold well this year.

Each of you have a great day!

At times, I have to wade through an entire page of pics of the same damned thing to actually find anything witty.

There is little interaction anymore or much original thought, just "cut & paste". I am guilty of this as well.

I'm going to re-engage with the other threads.

I wish you all well. I had fun.

Agree...

....................................

Pretty much the way I feel. This thread has a tremendous attraction to me, sort of a "Cosmic Bulls Eye" if I may quote another thread yet I still have at least three pages to catch up and with limited time in the AM and just too dog tired in the evenings, wading through the morass to find the nuggets...?
Found a lot of great music here but miss out on most simply for lack of time. Feels like more of an obligation than a pastime.

Got the pics done, all twenty two. And I got them all attached to an email, in order.
When the wife got home, she did the text and off it went.
People keep telling us that insurance companies always want to settle things quickly. These people have been dragging their feet for months.

I've got a Federal Government Agency involved. Still longing for a settlement in beautiful St. Augustine, and worried that my pension could be held at 60% for 6 months if the .gov so desires...

Who notes despair is a sin, but my family was declared apostate in the 1950s.

I finally got it.

I'm slow sometimes.

You are annoyed at the thread drift here.

Here's a picture of one of my great grandfather. My grandfather is the one wearing the short tie and no jacket. My avatar is his Colt .45. The other guys are five of my great uncles. One of which held me on his knee when I fired my first shot from a .22 rim fire when I was about 5.

:D

Where and when was that picture taken? Except for the style of well the scrub in the background looks similar to my region.

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone has a great day! It's a crispy 25 degrees here this morning but they say warmer weather is on the way! I'm getting ready to head out to go get my breathing test so wish me luck since I didn't get a chance to study for this! ;)

PLEASE do.

It is requiring too much attention.
Every one needs to give a big thank you to Lee for what I feel is the best run forum I know of. I have learned a lot from the more serious threads found here and really enjoyed the lighter banter ones. Thank you Lee ,you do a great job.

Cotulla, Texas is the location. I'd have to dig up the photo to get the date, I'd guess 1930s to 1940s somewhere. That's my great grand-father Bernard and his six sons. Bernard's two daughters and his wife are not in the picture.

Foggy foggy morning, can barely see across the street. Forecast, freezing rain, maybe snow. Can't we just have the snow and be done with it?
NOT suppose to rain in Iowa in January.

Have to venture out to the bone cracker in a little bit. Hopefully get some back kinks worked out. It is to the point that is miserable to shoot, can't be having that!
