The man never to be forgotten...Q

When I was a kid we had brains and eggs with biscuits and gravy a lot but once the older people were gone nobody made them. Haven't seen any brains in years in any of the grocery stores around here. Johnny Football isn't looking bad against the Bengals so far but he needs some receivers it appears. Three more quarters to go.

MY DAD made chicken hearts, livers, gizzards IN SCRAMBLED eggs.

His best dish was tomatoes and eggs.

The zucchini squash in scrambled eggs we still make today.

In the old country nothing goes to waste.

Does anybody else remember a 70's Saturday night on CBS? Archie Bunker...Robert Hartley...Mary Richards...Carol Burnett...classic comedy...classic characters.

Meathead...Mr. Carlin...Rhoda...Mr. Tudball...the list goes on and on. I was just a kid. Makes me a little nostalgic.

The 70's were a smoke filled blur interrupted by a sobering brush with disco.

I still can't be left alone with a mirror ball.

I remember. But the best part about TV on Saturday in the 70's was watching the original Saturday Night Live.
Belushi, Akroyd, Chevy Chase, Radner, Morris, Curtain.....
Guests like Steve Martin.
It will never be duplicated.
