Good morning drift! Monday is here! Had a lot of strange dreams last night, they woke me up sort of but I couldn't quite shake the feeling that it was real. Must have had too much lemon pie! Or maybe I am really drifting too much! Have a good day and drift on.

What's For Lunch?

Just got back from a Kwack Dr Appt. and I'm in the mood for some good ole fashion hickory smoked Tennessee Pork Bar-B-Que! Local joint has GREAT Que and serve it on fried cornbread! Or bun, I'm in the mood for cornbread. Their Cole Slaw is fantastic! With their fresh cut homemade French Fries! They have a pickle bar, that's right a pickle bar. With all types of pickles, spears, dill slices, pepper rings, ETC! And CHEAP! A platter is about 7.50! I can't go to Arby's for 7.50! And they don't have a all you can eat pickle bar! LOL!

Yep! That's what I'm having! A Pickle bar with a side of Tennessee Bar-B-Que!

The hardest decision today will the choices of pickles!

Yum Yum!

Hey, music fans, I just finished watching the documentary on Netflix, Muscle Shoals. Two words: MUST WATCH. The quality and diversity of music that came out of that town is amazing. Just my humble recommendation...because now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers.

I saw it. It was terrific. What a concentration of giant talent!

Someone referred to .38 Special on the "Cartridge Song" thread as a heavy metal band. Ronnie Van Zandt, who sang about Muscle Shoals, was the lead singer Donny's big brother. Not the greatest southern rock band, it was the 80's after all, but pretty far from metal.

But then again, wasn't that about the same era as
Jethro Tull's Grammy for best heavy metal band?
