I ran into what seems like a good deal on these bullets for reloading. Selway Armory has them for 4.99 per per pack of 100, I bought 5 packs to give them a try. Anyone has any experience with bullets from this company. Aslo, does anyone know of a good load for this bullet using trailboss. I usually load 158 gr lswchp bullets with 2.7 grs for plinking.

If you mean the conical RNL 130, that's my favorite boolit for ICORE & anything using my 627 if faster reloads w/moon clips is desired.

They've also got a new conical "157" same shape ogive but heavier, just got some today for trial.

Personally I just don't care for Trail Boss in 38/357 loads I've tried. It is my favorite in in 44 special & 45LC moderate cowboy loads though.

I've always had excellent results with any Badman Bullet.

2.7gr of TB is pretty light..................

With a 158gr lead I got my best results with 3.3 and 4.0grs of TB for a light and fac dup out of my 6".

For target loads I also like Red Dot and Green Dot, since they fill the case up a lot better than the faster Bullseye powder, and the chance of a double charge is reduced, big time.

W231 is ONLY used with the little 148wc since it will last longer with the smaller amounts of powder needed.

Sorry got off track............

With a 125gr LFN in a 38 snub nose with TB, I got.........
3.0gr at 543 fps
3.5gr at 597 fps

with a 125 RN "Cowboy design" bullet: medium heavy crimp
3.3gr at 600 fps

All accurate in the snub nose and should be even better in your 6" barrel.

Good loading.
