Sometimes you are forced to do some extrapolation where data is lacking for certain bullet weights or type of bullet construction in the same caliber, but powders behave differently and the relationship is not always linear. When there was little published data people worked up their own loads, but definitely start LOW if you choose to do so yourself.
I used to make bunny poot loads that I only made sure that the bullet cleared the barrel reliably. My old Speer #9 says that any load under max is good for revolvers. Now the books say "DO NOT LOAD BELOW MINIMUM" because many people are too stupid to be careful of what they are doing and will sue everybody that has the deep pockets.
You can use math to keep the pressure the same between the two cartridges
