The IOC members probably got a mental image of her in a Brazilian thong bikini and thousands of others like her being in the background of photos from the Chicago Olympics.

I guess with all his apologizing for America, the committee figured why hold the Olympics in our sorry ass country.
I see MSNBC is still bent out of shape over it, as they were ranting about how Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, and others at FOX NEWS were quite happy about Chicago not getting the Olympics.
How about all of us in IL that are happy, huh? I mean, I heard a lot of Obama-people say that "Chicago, nay the citizens of IL, really want it".

Taking Miss-hell along was a big mistake . . . for everyone in the world knows that until recently she had nothing to be proud of here in Amerika. Folks remember that comment, all over the world, so she's hardly the one that should be pitching the glories and wonders of the USA.
The only better outcome that could have come from this stooo-pid fiasco would have been if Jimmy Carter could have gone to beg for the Olympics alongside his young protege too.

Lost in all this hoopla is the sorry fact that my bid to host the Olympics also went down in flames-I didn't even make the final 4. Had the High school track lined up for the track & field, got the bayou swept of snakes for the swiming , got the gym for the gymnastics and Vermillion bay for the yachting. Hell, I even got the Indians to keep the casino open 24 hours for the crowds. I had two six packs invested in this!Bastards!!!!!

I am as happy as a clam!!! All of the people on my most despised four list are embarrassed/disappointed. Emporer Daley was counting on the Olympics to save the city's economy. The new construction involved would have displaced thousands of low income family's. Part of the game plan.

Seriously, the Rio people were building the celebration site before POTUS left to make his presentation, this blunder (forlorn hope) could have and should have been avoided, clear incompetence on the part of his staff.
