Cops in schools: a different point of view

My daughter works as a counselor in a really tough school. She deals daily with gang members, psychotics, last chance people.
She has been threatened more than once with physical harm.
It has two police officers on duty at the campus daily.
At 4 o'clock their shift is over and they leave.
My daughter--like most teachers--are there by themselves for an hour, wrapping up the day and the paperwork that they don't have to take home and finish that night.
They walk out, alone and unarmed into whatever or whoever might be waiting.
It would be good if she had the gun she wants but is denied.
I spend many afternoons in the parking lot waiting until she leaves.
Blessings

wow....i guess none of the teachers/administrators/etc.are ever in training, out sick etc.thats odd...

Yes, but we have a substitute come in. When our SRO is out, there's no one there. That's why I said that if a school's SRO is out, someone else should replace him or her. Otherwise those at the school have no chance or protecting themselves.

EVEN when the SRO is there -- those at the school have no chance of protecting themselves.

That's why we have school shootings in the first place - Kids have no protection against homicidal nuts.
How are these *******s getting into the school(s) in the first place?
WE need to become like the Israelis when it comes to protecting our kids - Why is it that *they* can't (or maybe it's won't) see that?

Rem3200, it's public information, posted on the schools website.....

If the rest of the world can read it, I see no reason to edit their names out.
