A true Gentleman, he'll be sorely missed. Had many communications with Phil as he was always gracious and a fountain of information. Prayers for his family.
I, too, had been trying to contact Phil and resorted to the obituaries to discover he had passed. Had many great communications with him, have the autographed book, and miss his knowlege concerning holsters.
Too bad. Back when he was selling off his cool holster collection I really had nothing one of his holsters would fit. I ended up buying a Buck knife. That thing arrived sharp as heck and holds an edge beautifully. We often cut piles of cardboard up at a place I volunteer. The knife frequently draws comments about how it eats through cardboard.
Back in 2022 Phil was selling a cookbook that was put together from the recipes established by his wife. I bought one of them and he was rather tickled that I included a Golden Dollar with my payment for the cookbook. He thanked me in his inscription for including the Golden Dollar.
