Eezox?

Do any of you use the dry CLP Eezox? It sounds fantastic. I shoot a 2206 and have to keep it really clean to keep it running smoothly.

I use Eezox and CLP. Even use EZ on my garden tools in the shed and it is as great protectant.

I really like the fact that it dries to the touch, so you don't get oil all over your hands the next time you take that gun to the range. I have never had rusting problems with any of my guns, even before I started using eezox, but I haven't had any rust issues since.

When we were doing a lot of duck hunting I used Eezox. It kept our shotguns running great and without any rust problems. I'm out right now so I am looking for a source. Good stuff

The smartest fellow I have ever met (really) is also an avid shooter and he put me onto Eezox. He also put me onto the best .222 Rem and .223 Rem loads for both my rifles. It is the real deal.

Nothing, except cosmoline comes close to rust prevention and no one want to deal with Cosmoline.

I've been using Eezox for about 20 yrs. Does a nice job of cleaning and if you coat gun parts with very light layer it will dry and form a nice non-oily protective barrier. I've never found ANY rust on a gun part treated this way. Its a little hard to find. I bought some a few months back via Amazon, think I paid about the same for it as I did 5 yrs ago.

Maddog, this thread made me realize that I was almost out of Eezox. I just ordered some through Amazon, so it is available through them.

Lately everybody is raving about Froglube. One buddy keeps talking about how it makes the guns easier to clean, but at double the cost of Eezox ($30 for 8 oz) the gun better clean itself.
