How many of us actually SHOOT our main edc pistol?

I usually go to the range twice a week and I practice with whichever of my 3 carry pistols I'm carrying at the time.

I shoot my EDC regularly ... the sporting club where I have a membership has a monthly steel plate event, kind of like the Steel Plate Challenge. They usually setup two different courses of fire, and every month has something different. I alternate months between my bedside heater and my EDC. Helps keep me sharp. I also like to run each course in a direction which feels opposite to my typical "natural point of aim" .. because one never knows what they'll encounter in the real world.

I shoot Smith Revolvers and Glocks. EDC rotation is 640P and G43X. I carry them interchangeably based on what I'm wearing. When forced to travel out of my comfort zone I carry both at once.

I shoot pistols 2 or 3 times weekly through the spring and summer and probably twice a month during hunting season. I shoot 150 to 200 rounds per session. I shoot about 10% of that round count through my EDC at the end of each range day. If I've been shooting something other than my Smith wheelies or Glocks (PCC, 1911, target .22 or other proprietary trigger) I increase that amount to at least 50 rounds through the EDC before I leave the range.

I enjoy putting a dozen or so rounds of 32acp through my Seecamp a couple times per month. :)

Speaking of Seecamp haha

Had a friend bring me a stainless colt commander with a full original 80's LW Seecamp Double action conversion in 100% pristine condition. Even had a Hoss carry melt done to it. He asked if i thought he could get $500 for it at a pawn shop, I immediately had him bring it to Morphy Auction house and have it appraised. Told him he'd be insane to sell it for 500 lol

Every 6 months I empty the magazines of my M&P380 into the road sign at the boat launch at the end of the road. That way I am assured of having fresh ammo at all times-that stuff goes bad you know.-

I shoot mine on average 5 days out of the week . I don't target shoot as much as I used to but I live in the country and most days see varmints that need to be put down so it still gets shot regularly .

I do not shoot my 360 AirWeight as much as I used to due to the high prices of ammo, specifically .357 magnum. I have killed several groundhogs around the farm this last year and I have put a Box of 20 through it last month, and that was not target ammo I shot either

I shoot 1911s and carry 1911s so I practice with a 1911 every time I go to the range my every day carry favorite is a Springfield Armory sub compact, My favorite full size 1911 is also a Springfield Armory Mil Spec that has a Night Hawk trigger and sights; both have 3 pound trigger pulls. I do carry double action pistols but before I carry it I spend a couple day at the range to regain the muscle memory. May pistols are SW 686s.
