I've cooked turkey every way possible. Deep fry tastes best. I'm going easiest again. Bird in a tent, overnight at 225 degrees. Ready around noon, perfectly moist, falling off the bone, plenty gravy. And folks won't be PO'd if'n you get drunk Wednesday night "getting ready.". Joe

I don't know which of those creatures to feel more sorry for.

Years ago, one of my students who happened to be a vegetarian, was extolling the virtues of Tofurkey. Realizing that I wasn't up-to-date on vegetarian dishes, I asked her what the heck Tofurkey was. She explained that it was tofu made to taste like turkey.

You gotta be kiddin' me!

I've always felt that I was a somewhat open-minded individual, but I tactfully explained that if the good Lord didn't intend for us to eat animals, He wouldn't have made them outta meat!:D

Here's hoping everyone here has a Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Anyone making Turducken this year for the Holidays.?
I so want to make or have this, but Mrs Rule is such a traditionalist. Heck she even frowns on roasting a turkey on the grill!

Heck it looks delicious (if I can get the birds de-boned);)
