Hello Forum - I recently purchased a model 60 vintage 1985 that was by all appearances ANIB with papers, etc. Upon further inspection, although it does appear to be in new condition, some apparent rough handling has caused a noticeable gap in the yoke to frame matchup as viewed from the front of the firearm. Can this be corrected by simply replacing the yoke? My understanding of this condition is that it's caused by indiscriminate flipping of the cylinder to open or close it. Any advice will be appreciated - thanks.

It is a 3 min fix if you know what to do. You can do one or two things, #1 Call the factory and see if they will fix it. #2 take it to a local smith and have him fix it. Last but lease spend your money on Jerry's book and learn to fix it yourself. Less than 30 bucks for it.

Thanks for the response, Bullseye: Here are photos - with some pressure against the right side of the cylinder, the gap measures ~ .015".

So did you ever get this fixed? I have the same problem with a new model 60. Got the shipping now to send it in....
