Must admit, I do miss my Sigma. Traded my 9VE and wifes 9VE in on a Glock G30 and and a Glock G26. The Glocks out the box are 100% better shooters. My first two 10 round mags thru the G30 were better than any groups from my 2500+ rounds thru my Sigma. But I still miss the Sigma. I got "Glock knuckle" after two mags but a dremil fixed that up quick. I will never "knock" a Sigma, perfect for their intended use. Try a Glock and you may be suprised how well they shoot.

I too sold my Sigma. An original AF model to boot.

I miss it because it was my first gun. Not for any other reason. I went to a Sig and now a Glock. I shoot better with these, but miss that old lady.

I miss mine, too. Moved to an M&P9, which is much easier for me to shoot accurately.

Here's the old girl, looking good. :o

i dont think i could ever let my 9VE go.... good fun little pistol that has never failed me. easy to break down and clean...good feel to my hand....waite i mean PERFECT fit to my hand and for the price you cant go wrong.

I bought a 9VE and shot it a short while and sold it. I kinda missed it and bought another one. While dry firing it I broke a striker but S&W sent a shipping pick up and it was back in 1 week. I do not plan on getting rid of the 2nd one but I never know when my mind will change. I like the 9VEs.

I just carried my Sigma the other day. Outside of the fact that it seams like I"ve gotten used to my M&Ps bigger and longer grip, my Sigma still felt at home.

I traded a G 26 for a M&P 9c, But I still kept my trusty 9VE, If S&W made a Sigma compact I would buy one.

Me, too, but even the full-size SW9VE that I just got doesn't seem all that large to me. I am very pleased with its size but I would buy a compact version in a heart-beat, too!

My 40VE has the best ergs. of all of my handguns - including the XD, 1911A1, and the five Glocks. Cheers.

Sigma's are good gun's. Carried one for a bit until I traded it for my dad's 1911 that was too heavy for him. I will only knock the triggers on them.

I used to own a Sigma 40F until it was stolen back in 1995. I think it was the only one that worked well, as I'd never had a problem with mine.

It turned up later in 1999 when I was notified that my pistol was recovered and I could get it at the Impound Station. I got back all of my guns except for my Lithgow #1MKIII .303 rifle that I bought for $40. The Sigma's front sight had been smashed in, presumably when the police told him to "drop it!!!", and he did.

I sold it a few months later for $300, and I kinda' wish I still had it....
