Starbuck Coffee

I support the up-and-coming Black Rifle Coffee Company. Founded in 2014. It is owned by former members of our U.S. Military.

Good news is Black Rifle's available at Cabela's. Not every blend, but a few offerings, ground and Keurig pods. It's a bit pricey, but it is at the on line store too.

Read on at your own risk ;)

Starbucks is the gateway drug to coffee. Once past the price tag, you start looking for "the next better cup."

I have hit the plateau. Kona Coffee Farm | Buy 100% Big Island Kona Coffee Online Was visiting Kona, and stopped for the tour. Great visit, better coffee. Real coffee, one farm. Peaberry rocks. Full City is dangerous. Private Reserve is, IMO, overrated. The sampler pack is the way to try this, even the macadamia nut. The chocolate-covered coffee beans (peaberry again)... you've been warned. :D
What about that coffee that comes from beans plucked out of civet cat poop? I hear that'a some mighty tasty stuff.
Who do you suppose was the person who looked at a pile of civet cat poop , noticed some beans in it and thought to himself " Hey, I bet if I wash those off, roast them and sell them to a bunch of yuppies with more money than rains I could make a pretty penny."?
I imagine that if I ran this business plan past my professor in MBA school I would either be class valedictorian or get booted out of the program! :D

Coffee keeps in a freezer quite well, Kirkland coffee from Costco is a good bang for the buck but can be a little on the strong side for some people. My buddy that opens the gun club Tue.-Fri. makes the first pot strong, I like it that way. The rest of the guys like it made with two cups fairly flat, he uses two cups rounded. Someone told me Kirkland coffee is bought from Starbucks which makes sense coming from Seattle. We've had coffee roasters here in Spokane since the 70's, I'll never forget when the first one opened up, I was wondering what the awful smell was, my nose led me to the first private roaster which is now a big deal business. I still get my coffee direct from them at nearly half what you would pay in the store. Find out where your local roaster is and buy him a locally brewed craft beer.
