Why do we need more gun laws.......

Joe Biden says it's because we don't have time to enforce the current laws.

Naturally, if we can't enforce the current laws, new laws will fix everything.


Now, I know what you're thinking. Ole' TStick has recently had some form of head trauma and is posting in a semi-lucid state; because NOBODY would really say that.

But look at this:

We realize that we can't do anything with criminals that provide us with all of their information on a form; but we will see to it that these new laws make this the land of rainbows and unicorns.

Because that is what politicians do. When presented with a problem or issue, the first instinct of a politician is to go out and immediately pass a new law. Then they can say they did something to address the problem or issue, irrespective if the new law was needed, applicable, or helpful. It is seldom that politicians actually sit down and analyze the problem or issue and formulate an appropriate response. That is why we have so many laws upon laws, that don't work, are not enforced, or even enforcable, actually make things worse, and even contradict each other. Partially it is our fault for continually electing professional full time politicians.
