WHY DO YOU BUY A GUN ?

I but guns because I like guns. I have always liked guns. I grew up watching westerns at the movies and on TV. I trend to buy guns that I like, that feel good in my hand and I have bought guns that I carried in the military. I have a clone of the M-16 in semi auto, 2 M-1 carbines, 2 1911's. I have a colt 45 single action army and a ruger 44 mag. than there are the ones I just like because they are stainless steel and are darn cool; my 686s in 3 sizes. then there are the carry guns a Model 60 with the 3 inch barrel the rugger LCR in 38+p and the 2 M&Ps in 9 and 40 cal. Now I am trying to justify buying a 45 colt or 44mag lever action. Because I regret selling my Henry Big boy in 44.

I have been delusional again, I slipped into my own little word. I have not gotten over the trauma for losing all my guns to the freak volcano that melted my safe and all it's contents. Time to take my meds and lie down.
Wow- I have read that before. You lost your guns in a fire. I think i posted once '' What would you do if big brother wants to take our guns away from us'' I thought your were joking.

born and raised in Puerto Rico only criminals and cops have guns for law biden citizen is hard to get a legal gun!i always wanted a gun but i was a hot head in my younger days and had no business near a firearm!3 years ago i convince my wife that we needed a gun for home protection and bought my first 22 pistol and the gun love affair went from there now we both carry a gun for protection and enjoy shooting!

TO PROTECT MY VIRGINITY !
being awesome good looking and sexy has drawback, one of which is a being "Chick Magnet".

I hope you do know the problem with being a chick magnet. You have to have at least one hundred thousand dollars in the bank for each year over age 40 or the polarity reverses on all chick magnets. It is a sad thing indeed.

That could explain you still being a virgin.

A little late to this excellent philosophical discourse. I buy guns because I work hard. For the most part I spend all I earn on "temporary items:" Food, electricity, fuel, mortgage, cell phone, cable, toilet paper, toothpaste, cars, tires, clothes....on and on. A few weeks from now I won't have any of these things, only new ones to replace ones used. Guns are forever, lasting items that will exist long after I have gone (as long as I care for them). If I didn't buy guns I don't know what I'd substitute and there would be no lasting point to my work. Joe

HOLY MOLY !
I guess I no longer need a firearm.

Shooting is a discipline, an art, and a great pastime I can enjoy with others. It helps to have have guns in order to partake.

I purchased all my guns in the span from my teens to early 20's. Since then I've swapped a few out, but I can say with some certainty that I have everything I can't live without.

Greed, lust, maybe some kind of sexual mindset. I used to be a sane and reasonable man, then I joined this forum. It's been downhill ever since. Anybody got a nice cheap Masterpiece K38 with a fishook hammer?

Because I might run into somebody that needs killin'...........

This is the one I like to use at cocktail parties when I've had a snoot full and the questioner is a wanker. My wife slinks off and hides and I have lots of fun with it.
