I was going to hold on to these, but after a few years it gets a little silly... 1st set were original on a model 57. The finish was sketchy on otherwise great grips (no wear on the checkering/wood). I stripped the original finish an used many coats of straight teak oil followed with gunstock...

I paid $700 for one here in MA last month. It came with some nice Badger boot grips.

Lets say you have an HK USP40 fullsize and they only make 10 or 13 round mags. Do you have to sell your pistol?

When I started, I took some advice I found here and purchased a Factory Reconditioned Lyman Orange Crusher for $75.00 I think. Built like a tank and has worked out very well for me. I also stepped up and got carbide dies. I turn out 50 at a time and I do it in stages over a couple of nights...

I recently got ahold of a pretty nice blue 6" model 57. I understand it was built in 1980 or so but still has the pinned barrel and the recessed cylinders. I've only shot about 30 handloads through it but it was just plain awesome. "Wicked Pissah", as we say up here. I don't see how you could go...

FWIW, I have seen forged hammers rub frames too. I would guess that MIM parts probably make it harder to see the scratches.

I would say those are GA grips. Nice ones too.
