Enjoyed seeing Snubby's video as well,people are afraid of each other in the cities and suburbs today. People can live close as two houses away and never speak or even acknowledge their neighbors. Sad when you think about it. Night all, drift on!

I've got a question for any of the Drifters that like to cook. Every since I moved to San Antonio, my pasta doesn't turn out too good. When I lived in OKC I had no problem cooking up a pot of nice al dente spaghetti noodles. But here in San Antonio, they come up gummy & stuck together. The only thing I can think of is a difference in the water. The mineral content is a lot higher than in Oklahoma City. Any Ideas how I can get around that? Will one of those filters you put on the tap do the trick, & if so, any recommendations?
Tim, we have a Brita filter and although my taste buds are shot due to radiation, Ruthie swears it makes a difference in cooking.
