What's for dinner?

My wife and I love pork steaks! Try to get thinner cuts if possible and let em soak in some soy sauce and beer. Add Lawry's and throw in the Traeger for 30 minutes with a couple baked potatoes. Mmmmmm!

Another fan of pork butt steaks. Marinated in Teriyaki sauce, oregano, pepper and paprika. Either simmered in the cast iron pan, or wood smoked.
 
First time in a week the house is empty. Leftover snow crab in butter/caper sauce, covered in Mutz-o-rell, air-fried 5 minutes @400*. It was so good I had to take a pic.

I am making a very large pot of Chicken Noodle soup. I just make the basic chicken stock with cut up chicken chest onions, celery, carrots and spices. We freeze some and the noodles fall apart if they get frozen. they get added later Neighbor and my wife's friend are both gonna get soup. She's taking her friend to see her Opthamologist tomorrow I think.
 
You guys are spending way too much money on making your wife happy with a late meal, after a lunch.

Have you tried a Sardine, sandwich ?

@KalamazooKid, this 20 year old Georgian reeled in a 2lb 9oz Yellow Perch.

He's gonna need a bigger pan.



I did actually read that article a few days ago! Perch are a delicacy that I rank right up there with hitting the lottery. They taste every bit as good as a bluegill and are much easier to clean and fillet! I target them occasionally but the best lakes are in northern Michigan these days.

There used to be an incredible perch fishery 30 minutes from here in South Haven on Lake Michigan but that's slowed in recent years.
 
Ah yes, a good old Cincinnati 3-way. Skyline, Empress or Gold Star, or home made?

Skyline and Gold Star are the major presences here followed by camp Washington Chili, Pleasant Ridge Chili and Blue Ash Chilli.

Sadly, Empress Chili has only one location left. It is in KY.
